Are you tired of falling victim to online scams? Millions of people are getting ripped off online and the sad thing is as soon as one scam site gets shut down ten more pop up. There are a lot of con-artist and cheats lurking around online. In this article I will be providing you with 5 tips to help guide you on spotting a work at home scam online.
Tip 1: First and foremost, look at the site's overall design. Does it look professional or does it look like a thirteen year old kid made it? Also, is the site promising you "instant riches" or possibly a way to make money without doing anything. Chances are if something looks to good to be true it probably is.
Tip 2: This could go with the first one, but I decided to add it as tip number two. If a web site is promising you that you can make six figure income in a year, run like hell. A legitimate site will not promise you this kind of money. They are simply doing this to hook you into paying some ridiculous fee upfront.
Tip 3: Be cautioned when you see the words "multiple sources of income." These often mean that you are going to be paying them for multiple items, services etc. Just use your head, and if they state that their business will not help you, you will need to sign up with another business and then another, it is a common pyramid scheme. A lot of the times what these phony sites do is ask you to refer all your friends once signing up. That way they can get to more and more people before people start to catch on that it is a MLM (multi level marketing) scam.
Tip 4: This one just kills me. If a guru is trying to promise you the world for a really small fee, there is something fishy about the program. Maybe they are keeping their prices dirt cheap so they can rip off thousands and thousands of people. A lot of little transaction can add up really quickly.
Tip 5: Always remember that there is no system that does not require any work at all. To earn money you simply have to work. There are no shortcuts or any of that garbage. They just tell you that to spark your interest because everyone want to make money doing nothing. Just use your common sense when you arrive at a site trying to sell you the world.
